Financial Planning and Analysis - Financial Analyst

About This Role

This FP&A Analyst role combines financial planning and analysis with business intelligence, automation, data modeling, and process optimization. The successful candidate will support FP&A operations while leading initiatives focused on reporting automation, data governance, dashboard development, and the continued evolution of the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environment. This position suits a finance professional with strong technical capabilities who enjoys transforming data into actionable insights and driving operational efficiencies through technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated budgets, forecasts, and management reporting packages
• Participate in month-end and year-end activities, including financial allocations, month-end reporting, and reconciliations
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making
• Develop and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and semantic models
• Build and maintain complex data models using Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and Microsoft Fabric
• Develop scalable reporting structures to improve visibility into financial and operational performance
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions
• Manage and optimize data flows, data transformations, and data quality processes
• Support the ongoing migration and development of the company's Microsoft Fabric data platform
• Collaborate with the BI team and business stakeholders to enhance data architecture and reporting capabilities
• Implement and maintain best practices related to data governance, documentation, and model design
• Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes and improve operational efficiency
• Lead and support automation initiatives using Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, and AI-enabled solutions
• Document business processes, reporting workflows, and technical solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across Finance and other business functions
• Act as a business partner to Finance, BI, and operational teams
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects related to business intelligence, reporting, and process transformation
• Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Finance Systems, or a related field
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting, automation, and financial planning processes
• Proven experience delivering reporting and process improvement projects
