Job Responsibilities:
- Own inventory GL balances (RM, WIP, FG) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
- Perform and lead subledger-to-GL reconciliations, resolving variances and ageing items
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close, including BtP analysis, inventory roll-forward, and variance reporting
- Ensure proper inventory accounting across RM, WIP, and FG, including cut-off and transaction integrity
- Partner with Operations, Costing, IT, and Finance teams to explain drivers and financial impacts
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives, including: Reconciliation standardisation and automation, Close process simplification and cycle time reduction, Data validation and reporting enhancements (e.g., Power BI, SAP, analytics tools)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field; CPA or relevant certification is an advantage.
- 8–10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in manufacturing (non-negotiable)
- Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (inventory/warehouse); Anaplan exposure is a plus
- Background in system integration or transformation projects is preferred
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as an independent contributor, with potential to take on leadership as needed
