Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, treasury, accounting, and reporting processes
• Ensure strict compliance with governance policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements
• Manage risk and facilitate effective audit and governance practices
• Supervise grants administration and facilities management to support operational efficiency
• Drive the development of the Finance Division through strategic leadership and team development
• Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to inform executive decision-making
• Maintain financial health through effective cash flow management and financial controls
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop financial strategies supporting organizational objectives
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to achieve excellence

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years’ senior financial management experience
• Proven track record in strategic financial leadership within the healthcare or government sectors
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, governance, and risk management
• Relevant financial qualifications (CA(SA) or equivalent preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Familiarity with government healthcare operational frameworks
• Familiarity with grant management and facilities administration
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and audit processes
