Financial Analyst

About This Role

This financial analyst role is based at the global headquarters of a pharmaceutical division, focusing on operating the divisional planning system and managing annual budget transfers and master data. It suits a technology-savvy individual with strong analytical skills who can ensure clear communication and high-quality forecast data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain EPD planning systems by ensuring data integrity, creating ad-hoc templates, solving daily tickets, and escalating to technical support whenever appropriate
• Conduct necessary checks and coordinate with relevant business units to ensure high-quality forecast data is accurately and timely loaded into the system
• Perform month-end activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities
• Coordinate annual budget transfers and plan load activities
• Orchestrate Global Product and Geographic hierarchy planning for future year
• Identify and drive process improvements, including creation and continuous improvement of standard reports and dashboards, and drive key projects at divisional level

Requirements

• Bachelor
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, general accounting, and/or financial reporting
• Experience working with SAC Planning tool (or equivalent) is required
• Basic programming skills
• Solid technical acumen
• Computer coding/programming skills
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to details
• Winning mentality,
• Result-driven, like hands-on work, pragmatic
• High level of professionalism and integrity
• Critical thinking
• Knowledge of Financial Statements (P&L / Balance Sheet)
• Proficient Excel knowledge and good numerical reasoning
• Excellent command of English is mandatory
• Willingness to work in an international environment
