About This Role
This role is for a highly motivated, target-driven, and experienced Short-Term Financial Advisor to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing professional short-term insurance advice and solutions across both personal and commercial lines.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for and acquire new short-term insurance clients
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate advice and solutions
- Prepare and present quotations and insurance proposals
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to policy inception
- Service and retain an existing client portfolio
- Identify opportunities to grow and cross-sell the business
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Network and actively market the business to generate new opportunities
- Stay up to date with industry developments, products and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- RE5 certification
- Relevant NQF Level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120 credits
- Class of Business certificates for Personal and Commercial Lines
- Proven experience in short-term insurance, with experience in both personal and commercial lines
- Demonstrated sales and business development experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Strong sales and business development skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
