As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy and operational efficiency within our manufacturing environment. You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and reporting to support leadership in making data-driven decisions that impact our bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Monitor and report on daily inventory movements, production output, and material usage to optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll preparation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Develop and maintain internal business unit reports, including capital project tracking and expense management.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Maintain rigorous internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data modeling and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to cross-functional teams.
- High standard of ethical integrity and ability to manage sensitive, confidential data.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise software.
- Demonstrated success in budget development, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.
- Experience with payroll administration and knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines.
