If you're a commercially minded finance professional with a strong background in property development accounting, this is a role where your expertise will be front and centre. You'll oversee the full spectrum of financial operations - from project costing to statutory compliance - within a growing property development business in Johor.

The Role
A broad, hands-on finance leadership role in property development:
- Oversee full-set accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Prepare management accounts and periodic financial statements for senior leadership
- Monitor project costing, progress billing, and development expenditure
- Manage payables and receivables, including contractor, supplier, and purchaser payments
- Ensure compliance with MFRS, the Companies Act, and all statutory requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Supervise the accounts team and strengthen internal controls
What We're Looking For
A detail-driven finance professional with property development expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property development
- Familiar with residential, commercial, and industrial development accounting
- Well-versed in MFRS and Malaysian statutory and tax requirements
- Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office; IFCA familiarity is a bonus
- Driven and analytical, with a high level of integrity and the ability to work independently
