Finance Executive R2R & Business Reporting – 4+ Years - Mumbai

Summary

We are hiring an experienced Finance professional for a Record-to-Report (R2R) and Financial Accounting role with a leading organization in the Energy and Engineering business. The role requires strong experience in financial reporting, month-end closure, MIS, profitability analysis, and handling large-scale financial data.

The ideal candidate should have exposure to the Manufacturing, Engineering, or related industry and be proficient in Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

1. Manage Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, including financial accounting, reporting, and month-end book closure.
2. Handle project-wise profitability analysis, including tracking revenue, costs, margins, working capital, and actual performance against business plans.
3. Prepare and analyze MIS, financial reports, variance analysis, profitability statements, and other key business performance reports.
4. Support revenue analysis, billing, collections, unbilled revenue, inventory management, working capital, and cash flow reporting.
5. Ensure compliance with financial controls, GST requirements, audit processes, and internal accounting policies.

Requirements

1. 4–6 years of relevant experience in R2R, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, or related finance functions.
2. Prior experience in the Manufacturing, Engineering, Energy, or similar industry is preferred.
3. Experience handling and analyzing financial data for large-scale businesses, preferably with a turnover or data scale of 1,000 Crore+.
4. Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and the ability to work extensively with large volumes of financial data.
5. Educational qualification: CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.
