Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded AM Law 50 national law firm seeking a Finance (Corporate Debt) Associate to join its Los Angeles office.
This role offers a strong mix of syndicated lending, secured transactions and other commercial finance work, with a particular emphasis on borrower-side credit facilities. The associate will manage multiple active transactions and gain exposure to private equity-sponsored and non-sponsored financing structures.

The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of Finance (Corporate Debt) Associate matters, including:
- Advise on syndicated lending transactions.
- Handle secured and other commercial finance matters.
- Support borrower-side private equity-sponsored credit facilities.
- Work on non-sponsored asset-based and cash-flow facilities.
- Draft and negotiate finance documentation.
- Manage multiple transactions and coordinate closing processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Finance (Corporate Debt) Associate with:
- Experience in syndicated lending, secured transactions and other commercial finance transactions.
- Experience with borrower-side private equity-sponsored and non-sponsored asset-based and cash-flow credit facilities.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions.
Preferred / advantageous: Experience with debt capital markets instruments is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000-$310,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
