Finance Assistant

About This Role

This Finance Assistant role supports the company's operations by handling a range of financial administrative duties within the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with previous experience in finance administration, ready to contribute to a global finance team.

Responsibilities

• Post all purchase invoices into ERP, job coding as necessary
• Maintain electronic files of paid bills with links in invoices posted in ERP
• Create supplier payment run for review by the Accounting Manager
• Reconcile supplier statements, ensuring timely invoice receipt and processing using GRNI review
• Receive and post cash receipts
• Reconcile outstanding account balances
• Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable and past due status
• Assist in month-end financial statement close

Requirements

• Previous work experience in accounts receivable and payable to complete the job description responsibilities
• Finance administration skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Use of online financial data management and reporting systems
• Experience working in, communicating within, and contributing to a team environment
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Ability to work to and consistently follow internal and external standards and procedures
