Finance Assistant

About This Role

Supporting the finance team with daily transactions and maintaining financial records is the core of this assistant role. The position involves a range of accounting duties, from balance sheets to payroll, and suits a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain balance sheets, track and reconcile bank statements, and update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
• Create cost analysis reports for both fixed and variable costs
• Process tax payments, invoices, and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as appropriate
• Support with setting up budgets, processing monthly payroll, and maintaining orderly records
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Participate in quarterly and yearly audits

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong sense of responsibility, organized and willing to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
