Finance Assistant

About This Role

Working closely with the Senior Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable), the Finance Assistant handles all aspects of accounts receivable, from invoicing and reporting to collection and reconciliation. This role suits a meticulous and organized individual with strong interpersonal skills, dedicated to ensuring efficient financial operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Senior Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable) in all aspects of Accounts Receivables
• Liaise with all departments for invoicing matters relating to HNF services
• Extract revenue reports for the invoicing of HNF services
• Disseminate invoices to clients/next of kin ("NOKs")
• Track, monitor, and contact clients/NOKs for collection of outstanding receivables
• Reconcile daily collections to outstanding receivables and bank statements
• Handle banking matters and data entries of receipts
• Assist Senior Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable) in timely month-end/year-end closing
• Implement process improvements to enhance greater efficiency of Accounts Receivable processes
• Undertake any other duties by the said reporting officer

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 2 years of financial and cost accounting experience
• Person of integrity, upholds professionalism, exercises prudence, engages in teamwork and possesses a positive attitude
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Able to multi-task and has an eye for detail
• Meticulous, organized with good interpersonal, customer relationship and communication skills
