Finance Assistant

About This Role

The Finance Assistant handles daily accounting duties, ensuring accounts are properly maintained with updated and accurate financial information. This role also involves answering inquiries about tuition fees and following up on unpaid fees, supporting the Finance Manager with various projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely account receivables and payables activities are performed accurately
• Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded
• Update financial records with recent transactions and changes
• Process invoices
• Manage records and receipts
• Handle procurement policy tasks
• Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks
• Reconcile records of bank transactions
• Support the Finance Manager with projects and tasks when required

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome
• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and independent
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Good team player
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including MS Excel
