About This Role
This coaching role focuses on supporting actors who want to advance their craft and careers in film and television. It involves teaching various acting techniques and guiding clients through both the artistic and business aspects of an acting career. The position suits an experienced professional with a background in the film and television industry and prior coaching or teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach acting techniques, voice training, and script analysis
- Help clients prepare for auditions
- Educate clients on on-set etiquette
- Guide clients through the business side of an acting career, including resume review, interview preparation, networking strategy, freelancing, and salary negotiation
- Support ongoing skill building for clients
- Set own hours and rates
- Host sessions virtually
- Partner with the Leland team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client
Requirements
- Hands-on film and television industry experience
- Prior coaching or teaching experience
- Clear, structured approach to helping clients grow both their craft and their career
