Field Technician

About This Role

This field technician role involves visiting customers' homes to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products. It suits a problem-solver who can work independently while staying connected with a team, educating customers on their new technology and offering additional services.

Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude
• Work independently but stay connected with the team

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Flexible to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 40 ft)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must meet and maintain 335 lb weight limit
• Customer focus to build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-solving skills to tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination to work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease

• Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record
