Field Service Engineer

About This Role

This field service role involves providing onsite and remote technical support to customers to ensure Philips equipment performs reliably and safely. The engineer will handle maintenance, diagnostics, upgrades, and repairs, responding to technical issues and customer escalations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, upgrades, repairs, and installations on Philips equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using established diagnostic tools and procedures
• Respond to customer escalations and technical concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Maintain accurate and complete service documentation through ServiceMax and other Philips systems
• Submit service reports, worksheets, expense reports, and administrative documentation accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with Philips quality processes, safety standards, and training requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electronic, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of experience supporting healthcare technologies in hospital or clinical environments
• Experience supporting diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably Digital X-Ray (DXR), Image-Guided Therapy (IGT), or related modalities
• Strong customer-facing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset
• Intermediate English skills, including the ability to read and understand technical manuals and service documentation
• Available to travel within Argentina
• Available to work an afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
