About the role
Job Summary
The Field Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and management of environmental construction and operations projects. This role serves as a bridge between field operations and project management, overseeing project schedules, field activities, safety compliance, data review, reporting, and client communication. The position requires regular field presence, technical troubleshooting, team leadership, and coordination of project resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of multiple environmental construction and OM&M projects
- Prepare site-specific health and safety plans and review daily Crew Activity Plans (CAPs)
- Assist with project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Review, analyze, and interpret field and operational data
- Generate operational and compliance reports for clients
- Conduct site inspections, safety assessments, and incident investigations
- Support the training, coaching, and development of field personnel
- Review employee timesheets, expenses, and project documentation
- Lead field meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Troubleshoot environmental control systems and recommend operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of field construction, environmental services, operations, maintenance, or project coordination experience
- Experience managing field crews, subcontractors, or project teams
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and field monitoring equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel and work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 7-10 years of environmental, landfill gas, construction, or OM&M experience
- Experience with environmental control systems and landfill gas systems
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- HDPE fusion/welding experience
- Experience reviewing environmental monitoring data and compliance reports
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Experience with project budgeting and financial tracking

- 40-Hour HAZWOPER
- 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher
- OSHA Supervisor/Management Training
- Confined Space Entry
- Trench Excavation Safety
- First Aid/CPR (Preferred)
