As a Field HVAC Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the peak performance and reliability of complex climate control systems. You will leverage your technical expertise in HVAC troubleshooting and equipment start-up to deliver high-quality solutions that improve building efficiency and occupant comfort.
Responsibilities
- Execute precise start-up procedures for advanced HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operational functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues across diverse heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Drive energy efficiency by performing detailed system assessments and implementing corrective repairs.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate technical findings clearly to clients and management.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards while working independently in various commercial environments.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on field experience with commercial HVAC systems.
- Deep technical knowledge of rooftop packaged units and water source heat pumps.
- Proven ability to perform successful equipment start-ups.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current EPA Universal certification.
- Must provide own set of professional hand tools.
Preferred Skills
- Completion of OSHA 30 safety training.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or training junior technicians.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on timely project completion.
