Field Engineer (Customer Service)

About This Role

This field engineering role supports public safety agencies in the APAC region by providing remote and on-site assistance for deployed systems. The position is designed for a graduate engineer with a strong interest in public safety and mission-critical operations, aiming to develop them into an independent customer service engineer.

Responsibilities

• Primarily support the Field Engineer to provide remote and on-site support for deployed systems, working with service teams and vendors
• Provide on-site support and out-of-hours work as required
• Support incident response and advanced root cause analysis
• Create value-added services and process optimisation by utilising automation, data analytics, and best practices
• Work directly with customers to resolve issues, acting as their advocate and voice
• Receive training and exposure to core systems and devices to develop relevant expertise with the solutions provided

Requirements

• Graduate with a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline
• Graduates with internship and/or project experience, strong interest and passion for the following would be preferred: Public Safety and Mission Critical operations, Data analytics, Automation, Cybersecurity, NOC & SOC, Customer Support, Maintenance and Life Cycle Management
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge on network
• Proven strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to work and coordinate across various groups and functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Have ITIL awareness and knowledge in Cybersecurity
• Ability to integrate AI into everyday activities
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
