Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and process payments with POS systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and delivery to ensure quality and freshness for every order.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, cashiering, and customer service.
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Previous roles involving cashiering, serving, or food handling demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a café, retail store, or grocery store is beneficial.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations helps ensure quality service.
