About This Role
This hands-on, creative role focuses on trend research, concept development, and apparel design for a US-based women's fashion brand. You will collaborate with a US-based design team to turn emerging trends and inspiration into original designs and detailed CADs, developing fresh collections for the women's junior fashion market.
Responsibilities
- Research emerging fashion trends, styles, colors, fabrics, and consumer preferences in the women's junior apparel market
- Develop original design concepts and fresh ideas for upcoming collections, aligned with the brand's aesthetic
- Create detailed CAD designs, technical sketches, mood boards, and visual presentations using Adobe Illustrator
- Prepare tech packs and design specifications to communicate creative concepts clearly
- Collaborate with the US-based design team to refine ideas, incorporate feedback, and develop cohesive collections
- Manage design assignments independently, delivering creative, high-quality work on time
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or Apparel Designer, preferably in women's junior fashion, contemporary apparel, or fast fashion
- A strong portfolio showcasing original apparel designs, CAD illustrations, and relevant creative work
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends, trend forecasting, and the Gen Z women's apparel market
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD design, and tech pack development
- Understanding of apparel silhouettes, fabrics, garment construction, and commercially relevant designs
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a remote team
- Strong English communication skills
