Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and effective medical attention to employees and stakeholders during shift hours.
- Attend medical emergencies and provide first-line treatment and stabilization.
- Support periodic medical examinations and health surveillance as per statutory norms.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice at all times.
- Maintain sufficient stock of essential and life-saving medicines and first aid materials.
- Check and ensure the readiness of medical equipment and emergency kits.
- Conduct periodic verification of drug expiry, calibration of instruments, and maintain stock records.
- Conduct health education sessions and awareness programs on hygiene, disease prevention, and lifestyle management.
- Support workplace inspections and identify health hazards with preventive recommendations.
- Participate in periodic medical examinations (PME), audiometry, vision, pulmonary function tests, etc.
- Maintain individual health records of employees as per statutory
- Participate in village medical camps and CSR health initiatives under the guidance of HOD.
