Position Overview The Facility Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality pediatric care at a dedicated day health center. This full-time role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services while supervising LPNs and staff. You will partner with families and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and document each child's condition through ongoing assessment
- Prioritize patient care and ensure safety and quality standards
- Implement physician orders and communicate changes promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing activities
- Support and mentor LPNs and staff, fostering teamwork
- Collaborate with families to promote positive health outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Active PA RN License (required)
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification (can be obtained during orientation)
- Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies is preferred and may offer additional compensation
