Facilities Porter I

About This Role

This Facilities Porter I position is responsible for the general upkeep of the dining room and surrounding areas, playing a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and assisting with various tasks to support the facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down tables and chairs after guest use
• Fill condiment dispensers
• Refill paper goods such as straws and napkins
• Sweep and mop the floors
• Operate special equipment like vacuums
• Move furniture as needed
• Assist the supervisor with any needed tasks

Requirements

• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Must be able to spend the entire shift on their feet
• Must be able to use cleaning chemicals and products safely
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
