Role Description The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Philadelphia, responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of the venue. This role manages daily building and equipment inspections, coordinates repairs with internal teams and external vendors, and ensures all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and Topgolf technology infrastructure) are functioning effectively. The Facilities Manager plans and executes preventive maintenance schedules, manages facility-related budgets, and maintains accurate records for compliance and inspections. This position works closely with operations, culinary, and events teams to support a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests and associates, responding promptly to facility issues and emergencies as they arise.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field within hospitality, entertainment, or commercial environments.
- Practical skills in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair, with the ability to diagnose and coordinate solutions for facility issues.
- Experience coordinating and supervising external vendors and contractors, including scheduling, scope of work, and quality assurance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks and projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and best practices for workplace safety, including incident reporting and preventive measures.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and provide clear updates on facility status and needs.
- Comfort using maintenance management systems, digital tools, and basic office software for tracking work orders, inventory, and budgets.
- Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support venue operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in facilities management, building systems, or safety are beneficial.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, with a focus on coaching and supporting maintenance staff.
