Facilities Manager

About This Role

Leading and managing the facilities team is the core of this role, ensuring effective daily operations and maintenance across all plants. The Facilities Manager oversees building maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water supply, and other essential utilities. This position involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as facilities improvement projects. It suits a candidate who can manage facility expansion, renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and new plant development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facilities team to ensure effective daily operations and maintenance across all plants
• Oversee building maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water supply, and other essential utilities
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and facilities improvement projects
• Manage facility expansion, renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and new plant development projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor facilities operating costs, maintenance budgets, energy consumption, and resource utilization
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and relevant authorities on facilities-related matters
• Establish and improve facilities management procedures, maintenance schedules, and emergency response plans
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of facilities breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the facilities team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or plant engineering, with managerial experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of building infrastructure, industrial utilities, preventive maintenance, and facilities project management
• Experience managing contractors, budgets, and multiple facilities or plant locations
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards, statutory requirements, and local authority regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Able to lead the facilities team across all plants and support future business expansion
