Facilities Manager

About This Role

This Facilities Manager role is for one of the company's communities in Boulder, CO. The position involves performing services on behalf of the Homeowner Association, including light electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance, as well as managing preventative maintenance plans for building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform light electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Perform pool system and hot tub system maintenance
• Direct staff in grounds keeping and cleaning of building interiors
• Interact with community members
• Partner with other properties for on-call responsibilities
• Manage the Preventative Maintenance plans for all of the Association Building Systems
• Be the first point of contact for all vendors servicing the property
• Work in cooperation with the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Homeowner’s Association
• Meet with and direct contractors
• Obtain requests for proposals
• Order and maintain supplies
• Attend monthly meeting as a part of the Management Team
• Understand building components and how they work including boilers, HVAC, electrical, elevators, electronic equipment, fire alarms, security systems, lighting systems, entry systems, fire suppression systems
• Oversee and supervise Maintenance Technicians, ensuring work orders, preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and community expectations
• Provide direction, training, and performance oversight

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Trade School or Technical background
• Must possess personal values that are in alignment with those of the company: Excellence, Partnership, Professionalism, Integrity, and Life Balance
• General Maintenance Experience
• Must have excellent Communication Skills
• Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Dependable
