Facilities Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading facility management departments and applying technical expertise to evaluate operating program standards, measure performance, and recommend solutions to enhance operations. The Facilities Manager drives adherence to program standards and standard operating procedures, conducts industry research, and maintains effective working relationships with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and direct all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, including financial accountability and compliance with established standards, regulatory agencies, and clients
• Deliver strong operational performance by executing against Aramark, client, government, and other regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide an optimal, proactive, safely operating facility maintenance program which drives patient satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with appropriate safety, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards by appropriate local agencies
• Oversee all site utility systems to include electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, water treatment, energy management, fire safety, life safety, and grounds
• Manage vendors
• Interact with Client Management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding
• Identify Aramark service expansion opportunities
• Provide overall direction and manage performance for all Facility and Maintenance Supervisors and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement, and compliance with human resource related policies and standards, including conducting applicable rounding
• Develop operational component forecasts and explain variances
• Responsible for component's accounting functions and capital budget program
• Ensure consistent application and regular use of all ISIS Pro modules to properly manage the operation
• Ensure compliance with all contract obligations

Requirements

• 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and relevant experience
• Knowledgeable of all regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong leadership abilities
• Profit and loss (P&L) budget experience
• Working knowledge and appropriate preventive maintenance of building systems (i.e., boilers, chillers, generators, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC/R)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
