Facilities Director

About This Role

This Facilities Director role involves overseeing the comprehensive management of the company's facilities, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across Residential Treatment facilities. The individual will plan, direct, and evaluate ongoing maintenance and larger projects to maintain high standards, working closely with the CEO to ensure consistency, compliance, and aesthetic quality across all properties.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units
• Responsible for regular facility inspections for quality assurance
• Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors
• Prepare presentations to management to gain project approval
• Multi-task and consistently re-prioritize projects to best serve clients
• Complete quarterly health and safety meetings with other department heads
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings
• Direct oversight of the Housekeeping department, including employee performance reviews, hiring and onboarding, disciplinary actions, and retention
• Perform any other duties as directed by the CEO or other executives

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and residential maintenance procedures
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety regulations
• Knowledge of OSHA standards related to facilities management; ability to implement safety protocols effectively
• Must be hands-on with a sense of the desired facility aesthetic
• Ability to commute between all company locations, from Los Angeles to Malibu
• 2 years of maintenance experience (Preferred)
• CDL (Required)
