About This Role
This director role involves leading the facilities organization to meet the short and long-term business objectives for NXP Thailand. The director will establish and monitor facility infrastructures and systems, ensuring optimal resources, spending, and cost efficiency. It suits a leader with extensive experience in facility management who can develop staff and contribute to overall team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Facility organization to meet NXP Thailand's short and long-term business objectives
- Establish Facility infrastructures to meet standard and business requirements
- Monitor the effectiveness of all Facility related systems to optimize resources, spending, cost, and achieve standards
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop facility staff (managers, engineers, technicians) to ensure all facility activities meet established targets and goals
- Take full ownership for the Facility department (including EHS, Safety) in all its aspects
- Continuously improve all Facility systems toward a best-in-class level
- Develop the organization by developing all staff and acting as a coach/role model
- Actively involve in communication and cooperation with NXP global facility
- Contribute to the overall Team-Performance as part of the ATBK Management Team by demonstrating understanding and adding value to achieve the ATBK team target
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in a facility-related field such as mechanical engineering, power engineering, electronic engineering, and other related facility fields
- 10-15 years
experience in a facility working environment
- Strong command of English communication (listening, written, and spoken)
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Managing teams consisting of staff and contractors
- Understanding core building systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Understanding budgeting and accounting practices
Nice to have:
- Advanced certifications, such as an HVAC and sprinkler system certification
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)
- Advanced knowledge of industrial controls, electrical, and electronics
- Advanced knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of relevant local and safety regulations
