About the role
We’re looking to hear from experienced Civil and Structural Engineers who would like to register their interest in joining BakerHicks across the UK.
We’re interested in hearing from Engineers, Senior Engineers, Principal Engineers and Associate-level professionals who have established industry experience and are interested in working on complex, technically challenging projects across a diverse range of sectors.
Our teams work across a varied portfolio of projects, including power and energy infrastructure, defence and nuclear facilities, aviation developments, healthcare projects, custodial facilities, universities, laboratories, transport hubs and complex building redevelopments.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver civil and structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects
- Produce and review design calculations, specifications, reports and drawings
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions
- Engage with clients, contractors and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards and regulatory requirements
- Support project delivery, technical assurance and quality management processes
- Contribute to safe, sustainable and innovative engineering solutions
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in Civil and/or Structural Engineering within a consultancy, contractor or client-side environment
- Strong technical knowledge and practical design experience
- Experience producing and/or reviewing design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations and best practice
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- Progress towards, or achievement of, professional membership such as ICE or IStructE is advantageous
