Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role as an experienced industrial maintenance technician involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining lifting equipment and other industrial machinery for the client Ariane Group. The technician ensures preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as modernization, adhering to specific technical specifications and internal safety rules. The position also includes performing general periodic verification (VGP) inspections.

Responsibilities

• Establish a technical diagnosis following client requests and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical anomalies
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits according to established maintenance plans (detailed task lists)
• Repair and/or modernize existing installations based on commercial team recommendations
• Perform general periodic verifications of equipment at the client site to ensure compliance with current standards, as per scope
• Write technical work reports for the client on a digital platform in a predefined format
• Demonstrate and explain various actions taken (e.g., analyze recurring breakdowns and propose improvements to optimize equipment availability)
• Respect and apply integrated management system procedures, especially health and safety rules

Requirements

• Baccalaureate or BTS level (specializing in mechanics, electronics, electrical engineering)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance specific to lifting equipment
• Technical skills: Electrical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and variable speed drives
• Human skills: Good oral communication, active listening, teaching ability, adaptability, cooperative, proactive, ability to work alone or collaboratively
• Office/Technological skills: Phone and tablet
• Languages: French and English
• Foundational training in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics
• Knowledge of VGP regulations, as per scope
• Knowledge in using various IT and digital resources (smartphone, tablet)
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards specific to overhead handling or other industrial environments and the work environment according to field specificities
• Driving license (Permis B)
• Electrical certifications (specific to targeted sites)
• MEWP (nacelle) certification (CACES)
• Work at height/harness certification
• VGP inspector certification, as per scope
• Specific internal product training
