Manolas Bros is a family-run cabinetmaking business specialising in premium residential cabinetry and bespoke joinery.
We work alongside some of Auckland's leading interior designers, architects and builders, creating custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and one-off cabinetry for exceptional homes across Auckland.
We're looking for an experienced Cabinetry Installer with a strong cabinetmaking background to join our team.
This role will suit someone who enjoys high-end installation, can confidently work through challenges on site and takes genuine pride in producing a quality finished product.
The Role
You'll be responsible for installing custom-made cabinetry across a range of premium residential projects throughout Auckland.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Installing kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and bespoke cabinetry
- Reading and working accurately from cabinetry plans
- Levelling, scribing, fitting and finishing to a high standard
- Working through site challenges and finding practical solutions
- Coordinating with builders, designers and other trades on site
- Communicating professionally with clients when required
- Ensuring every installation is completed to a high standard
This isn't repetitive, volume kitchen installation. Every project is different, and you'll be working with quality cabinetry in design-led homes where the details matter.
What We're Looking For
A strong cabinetmaking background is essential.
You may be an experienced cabinetmaker who has moved into installation, or an installer with significant experience working with custom residential cabinetry.
You'll need to:
- Have solid experience installing high-quality cabinetry
- Understand cabinet construction and how cabinetry should go together
- Be confident with levelling, scribing and detailed finishing
- Read and accurately interpret cabinetry plans
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and think on your feet
- Work confidently and independently on site
- Be organised, reliable and take responsibility for your work
- Communicate well with clients, designers, builders and the workshop team
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a good team
