Executive Director

About This Role

Leading the daily operations and ensuring full occupancy of the community is the core responsibility of the Executive Director. This role involves comprehensive financial management, strategic business planning, and the continuous improvement of program services, all while managing staff and delivering exceptional service to residents and their families. The Executive Director must also proactively communicate any potential threats to the community to their direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and occupancy of the community
• Manage financial aspects and business planning
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve program services
• Manage staff
• Deliver high-quality services to residents and their families
• Proactively communicate any potential threats to the community to the direct supervisor
• Promote the community positively and effectively communicate its values to residents, families, visitors, and team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• State-required licensing
• Excellent customer service and public relations skills
• Experience working with seniors
• Experience in successfully operating and maintaining a customer-focused environment in a senior living facility
• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Meets all current requirements of the State and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities, and any amendment thereto, as required
• Demonstrated integrity and leadership skills
• Possesses a sincere passion for working with our senior population
• Physically able to bend and reach
• Physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
• Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
