Executive Chef

About This Role

Executive Chef will oversee all food production for outlets and banquets, guiding the team with a blend of creativity, precision, and leadership. The role drives quality, manages costs, and shapes a positive, productive kitchen culture. This position suits a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure and takes pride in mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation across outlets and events
• Develop menus and specials while managing food and labor costs
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate all kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and professional environment
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
• Monitor and manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
• Maintain scheduling and staffing levels based on business needs
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and temperature guidelines are followed
• Collaborate with other departments and hotel leadership to support overall success
• Respond to guest feedback and adjust operations to ensure satisfaction
• Participate in budget planning and manage expenses within set targets
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Executive Chef or culinary leader, ideally in a hotel or banquet environment
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food cost controls, safety standards, and staffing best practices
• Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers Certification (as required by state)
• Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
