About the role

Buccellati is an Italian jewellery, high-jewellery and silversmithing Maison founded in 1919, admired in the world for its craftmanship and the uniqueness of its creations. Today, the Buccellati jewels stand out for their design and for the techniques used to create them, such as the hand-engraving technique, dating back to the goldsmithing traditions of the Italian “bottega” of the Renaissance times.

The Maison has been part of the global luxury group Richemont since September 2019 and the Buccellati family is still present in the Company to perpetuate its style and unparalleled craftsmanship tradition.

For our HQ in Milan, we are looking for an Event & Comm Trainee to join our PR & Communication Department.The intern will be part of the PR & Communication Team and will provide support in many different daily activities.

In particular, the intern will provide daily support to the Team, in the following activities:

Corporate, Retail and Trade events:

  • Dynamic planning of events to promote and bring awareness to the Maisons and its collections
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail to uphold the Maison’s luxury standards
  • Support on the event planning from briefing to the organization and development.
  • Corporate material supply and logistics aspects (visuals, invitations, gifts, table setting…)
  • Coordination and follow up with suppliers and production agencies
  • support managing the guest list and on-site activities during the event
  • Supervision and support of events organized locally by other markets.
  • Complete the post event report and supervise all other countries event reports.

Trade communication:

  • Fully support on the communication plan and implementation of each trade client.
  • Supervise that the Maison is correctly represented by the client and guidelines are followed.
  • Management and order of corporate catalogues, corporate materials and gifting
  • Support in meetings organisation by booking meeting rooms and inform reception
  • Assist on the budget allocation and administration follow up.

Charity, Sponsorship and partnership:

  • Support in the organisation of local charity activities and events.
  • Assist on the implementation of sponsorship and partnership projects both local and global.

Educational background and Skills:

  • Undergraduate or graduate in Communication, Economics and Management, Fashion Design, Luxury Management, Marketing;
  • Previous experience, even if short, gained in similar positions at Communications, PR, media and events offices;
  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of French at an intermediate level
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially: Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign will be considered a plus
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous;
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Time management skills and ability to respect tight deadlines;
  • Interest and passion for the fashion and luxury market; passionate digital native;
  • Passion for the PR Industry and its best practices
