About the role
Position Summary
The Events and Engagement Lead is responsible for developing and executing strategic employee engagement, recruitment marketing, and brand activation initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between corporate branding strategies and on-the-ground execution, ensuring the delivery of impactful experiences that strengthen employer brand awareness, enhance employee engagement, and support talent attraction and retention objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive calendar of local marketing activations and engagement initiatives aligned with organizational and brand objectives.
- Establish measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of each event or activation.
- Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and cost management to maximize return on investment.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of events, including venue selection, vendor management, staffing coordination, logistics planning, and procurement of promotional materials and equipment.
- Provide on-site leadership during key events, ensuring seamless execution and a positive participant experience.
- Partner with Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful integration of engagement initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and report on event performance metrics, participant feedback, and engagement outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key voice of employees and candidates by providing insights and recommendations that support future engagement and employer branding strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in event management, field marketing, brand activation, employee engagement, or related functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing large-scale events and activation campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of event budgeting, vendor management, sourcing, and cost analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Canva, and other presentation or project management tools.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
