Event Planner

About This Role

This internship role is for an Event Planner to support the planning and execution of startup-focused events like meetups, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions. It offers hands-on experience in event management within the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics
• Assist with venue selection and setup
• Manage guest lists and registrations
• Communicate with speakers, partners, and participants
• Help with budgeting
• Coordinate vendors
• Conduct basic sales and sponsorship outreach
• Perform post-event follow-up and reporting

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Event planning and event management skills, with the ability to organize timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination
• Budgeting skills, including basic cost estimation, expense tracking, and working within defined financial limits
• Sales-related skills, such as outreach for sponsorships, partnerships, and attendee acquisition
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with common office and event management tools
• Interest in startups and entrepreneurship
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi for the duration of the internship

Nice to have:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Business, Event Management, Marketing, Communications)

• Schedule: Standard business hours and occasional evenings or weekends as events demand
