Event Manager / Senior Event Manager / Assistant Event Manager

About This Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of events at the hotel. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all aspects of events run smoothly, delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage events of various scales from concept to completion
• Liaise with caterers, decorators, AV teams, and other vendors to ensure quality service
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and address client needs promptly
• Manage event budgets, control costs, and negotiate vendor contracts
• Develop strategies to promote events and maximize attendance
• Supervise and support event staff, including scheduling and training
• Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and on-site operations
• Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and brand standards (e.g., Hilton EventReady with CleanStay and Hilton EventReady Hybrid Solutions programmes)
• Monitor event outcomes and implement improvements

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in event planning or hospitality logistics experience in a hotel catering/events sales role preferred
• Familiarity with hotel systems (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce, OnQ, Market Planner)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Multi-linguistic skill is a plus
