Event Manager

About This Role

The Event Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising in-store Product Demonstrators at Club Demonstration Services (CDS). This role involves overseeing product preparation and presentation, training staff, and ensuring excellent service for all Club members. Strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators is essential, including participation in new location grand openings.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation.
• Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer service.
• Communicate between multiple managers, vendors, and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail-oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead well-performing teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Able to coach and counsel employees, taking corrective measures as needed.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
