Event Manager

About This Role

This Event Manager role at The Hilton Milwaukee serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel operations, focusing on building loyalty and developing sustainable relationships. The position is ideal for a dedicated individual passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to an exceptional guest experience at a premier downtown Milwaukee hotel.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, lead property tours, promote hotel services, and respond to inquiries
• Create event details, including menus, contracts, correspondence, banquet orders, and arrangements
• Coordinate event and meeting setup and execution with internal departments to meet client and operational needs
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and event activity reports
• Attend Catering/Events, Food & Beverage, Department Head, and other operational meetings as needed
• Attend community, social, networking, and business events as appropriate
• Stay current on the competitive market and local hospitality landscape
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in event
