About the role

Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company throughout the Southeast with a commitment to creating quality culinary concepts from scratch. This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more.

We are searching for Event Chefs to assist the culinary department to join our culinary team as Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. The position will report to the Executive Chef.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the highest level of food quality with your culinary team.
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas.
  • Maintaining the highest level of service, safety, and food quality for each event.
  • Running food on game-days, assisting in the organization of menu items according to BEOs and event information.
  • Preparing items according to a recipe.
  • Cleaning and organization of kitchen equipment and products.
  • Assisting the culinary management team in all assigned tasks.
  • Interacting with guests and leading interactive chef stations as needed.
  • Running game day pantries, overseeing food distribution and accuracy.

Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have knowledge of food preparation/food service who has a strong understanding of the execution of BEOs, customer satisfaction, and interactive stations.
  • Must be a phenomenal team player.
  • Must have impeccable integrity for the industry, the community, and the Proof of the Pudding Team.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Specialized Qualifications:

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Renowned time management and organization skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.
  • The ability to work alone and as a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Work Environment

The work environment for this position will be event operations.

Uniform Requirements

Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of moving through an event space and/or a kitchen.
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • This is considered a part-time hourly position.
