ETL Developer

About This Role

This ETL Developer role focuses on Ab Initio development and engineering, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD processes, containerization, Kubernetes, and AWS deployments. The position involves end-to-end delivery ownership, from requirements to production support, and requires expertise in API development and application maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Ab Initio-based applications and data processing solutions
• Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize application performance, and provide production support to ensure system stability and reliability
• Understand end-to-end CI/CD processes for deploying applications to AWS environments
• Manage build, release, deployment, configuration, and validation activities across multiple development, testing, staging, and production environments
• Gain hands-on experience in containerizing Ab Initio applications using Docker and deploying/managing Docker images within Kubernetes clusters
• Deploy and support application components across AWS cloud environments
• Possess extensive experience in API design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Promote APIs through various environments and validate successful integrations to support business and system requirements
• Be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing Ab Initio applications, including defect remediation, Business Rules Engine (BRE) updates, code modifications, validation, and release deployments through established CI/CD pipelines
• Comprehensively understand the software delivery lifecycle, covering requirements implementation, development, source code management, containerization, CI/CD, cloud deployment, testing, troubleshooting, release management, and production support within AWS-based environments
