Management Level Senior Associate
Job Description & Summary As a Commercial & Pricing Analyst, you will provide the essential data engine and operational support that drives day-to-day bidding activity. Working closely with Technical Architects and Project Managers, you will turn resource estimations into accurate client-facing financial models. You will ensure all proposals adhere to established margin benchmarks while tracking and analyzing post-sale operational data to prevent revenue leakage.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal & Bid Support: Own the execution of standard and mid-tier pricing models. Translate technical Statements of Work (SOWs) and resource plans into client rate cards and financial bids.
- Variance & Margin Analysis: Review proposed deal margins against historical baselines and practice targets. Highlight anomalies or low-margin profiles to the Senior Lead before submission.
- Pipeline Data Cleanliness: Maintain accurate records of bid pricing, agreed discount structures, and win/loss commercial data within the Salesforce
- Delivery Performance Tracking: Analyze monthly project metrics—including employee utilization, contractor spend, and milestone achievements—to track project profitability vs. the initial bid.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Own the update and maintenance of monthly commercial dashboards, translating raw operational data into scannable performance reports for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or business operations. Exposure to a professional services, IT, or corporate SaaS environment is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas) with a proven ability to build structured, error-free spreadsheets quickly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage tight turnaround times across multiple simultaneous bids.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and CRM workflows.
