Estimator/ Project Manager

About This Role

This role is for a Project Manager/Estimator who will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, while also supporting business development through accurate estimating and client relationship management. The position serves as a key point of contact for various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and value engineering recommendations
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations
• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel
• Monitor project costs and prepare financial forecasts
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams to drive project success
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
