Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and dermal fillers with precision and care
- Conduct advanced aesthetic procedures such as laser hair removal, esthetic laser treatments, botulinum toxin injections, eyelash extensions, and body waxing services
- Provide expert consultations to assess clients’ skin types and recommend personalized skincare routines and treatments
- Maintain strict sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Educate clients on skincare products, home care routines, and treatment options to foster long-term relationships
- Support retail sales by promoting skincare products and services that meet individual client needs
Requirements
- Valid esthetician license or cosmetology certification as required by state law
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in skincare treatments such as facials, waxing (including body waxing), tinting services, and makeup application
- Knowledge of advanced aesthetic procedures including laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin treatment), eyelash extensions, and skin resurfacing techniques
- Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
- Ability to perform hair threading and other grooming services as needed
- Passion for continuous learning about new aesthetic treatments and industry trends
