About the role
Location: Waukesha, WI
Compensation: $21.00–$27.00 per hour
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Escrow Closer to coordinate and facilitate real estate transactions while ensuring accurate, timely, and professional closings.
Previous title, escrow, mortgage, real estate, banking, or related experience is preferred. However, our client is willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.
Compensation
- $21.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications

Responsibilities
- Review title commitments, offers to purchase, lender instructions, and related transaction documents
- Prepare closing documents, settlement statements, deeds, affidavits, and other required paperwork
- Obtain payoffs, HOA information, utility bills, entity documentation, and other items needed to complete transactions
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, attorneys, and other parties
- Balance closing funds and verify wire amounts
- Schedule and conduct closings, including document execution and customer communication
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and industry regulations
- Assist with post-closing responsibilities as needed
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, emails, and phone calls
- Support team members and assist with departmental workload when necessary
Qualifications
- Experience in title, escrow, mortgage, banking, real estate, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, priorities, and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SoftPro or comparable title and escrow software is a plus
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to learn title and escrow processes in a hands-on environment
