Equipment Cleaning Technician - Heavy Equipment

About This Role

This role involves operating and cleaning heavy equipment using high-pressure steam-cleaning equipment. The technician will also perform preventive maintenance on the wash rack and assist with contamination control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to and from the cleaning area
• Utilize high-pressure steam-cleaning equipment to clean equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on the wash rack
• Ensure a safe and clean work area per standard operating procedures
• Assist in meeting Contamination Control guidelines
• Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Some high school education
• 6 months or less of experience
• Able to easily and effectively comprehend, speak and write in the English language

Important Details

• Schedule: typically performed during regular business hours with occasional requirements to work nights, holidays and weekends
• Stress Load: occasional exposure to stresses (less than 20% of the time)
• Workload Fluctuation: frequently involves changes in priorities, complexity and/or quantity of work
• Supervisory Responsibility: no subordinates / no supervisory responsibility (may work independently or as a member of a team)
