Job Title: Epic Testing PM

Location: Remote (1 day onsite per month)

Position Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• This person will need to have experience serving as an Epic testing/QA project manager.
• This will be around Epic application testing.
• This person will need to have experienced designing templates and standards for testing activity, manage, testing activities to timeline and scope, and escalate, testing issues and risks to project leadership. In scope, is parallel revenue cycle testing (PRCT), integrated testing, and application testing

Required

• They are moving from Cerner to Epic. Epic Big Bang implementation set to Go Live fall 2027
• 5+ years of recent experience serving as an Epic Testing/QA Project Manager
• Previous experience as an Epic Testing/QA PM on a new implementation project

Epic Testing Project Manager

• Manages testing project plan (timeline, waves, milestones, dependencies)
• App Testing, Integrated Testing, PRCT, MRT, Regression Testing
• Coordinates resources (application testers, SMEs, etc.) and resolves conflicts
• Communicate regularly with the Epic team and involved third-party and technical teams about upcoming testing activities and timelines.
• Implement your test management system, including your test scripts and a way to track them.
• Develop a plan for escalating testing delays and issues.
• Update your testing project plan throughout the project.
• Liaise between teams, vendors, and project leadership (using reports and recurring meetings) to escalate issues and delays.
• Provide testing updates and escalate issue resolution to project leadership.
• Make your testing processes successfully repeatable.
• Takes point on status, RAID (risks/assumptions/issues/dependencies), decision logs, escalation
• Tracks to environment readiness and dependencies (availability windows, refreshes, access)
• Owns reporting (progress vs plan, pass/fail, defect aging, readiness dashboards)
