General Responsibilities:
- Provides educational expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the development of Epic education.
- Provides live or Webex new hire, upgrade and refresher training to staff.
- Maintains educational materials for assigned application(s).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field
- Experience in Epic application systems and healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality teamwork and education.
- Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
- Understanding and interpreting clinical and non-clinical workflows, processes, and terminology in order to translate information into educationally sound training content.
- Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
